Tampa Turf & Pavers

Lawn turf

A green lawn that is ready for bare feet, every day.

We replace thin grass, sand and mud with artificial turf built for Tampa Bay yards. Soft enough for the kids, made for the Florida sun, and installed on a base that drains after the afternoon storm.

A good fit if

For yards that never quite cooperate

  • Grass will not grow

Shade from the oaks, or full sun that burns it out by July.

  • Mud comes inside

Kids and dogs track it across the floors after every rain.

  • Weekends matter

You would rather be in the yard than mowing, edging and watering it.

  • It should look finished

Front lawn, side yard and pool area green all year.

Done right underneath

What goes under your lawn

The turf is the part you see. The base underneath is what keeps it flat, draining and good-looking for years, so we do not cut corners there.

Chris F. Backyard turf · Verified Thumbtack review, May 2025
Does artificial turf get hot in Florida?

Any turf warms up in direct summer sun. Cooling infill such as HydroChill is designed to help bring the surface temperature down, and a quick rinse helps on the hottest afternoons. For areas with full afternoon sun, we will walk through the options on your visit.

What happens when it storms?

Water drains through the turf backing into the compacted base. We grade before the base goes in, and if we see a low spot or drainage problem on the visit, we point it out and price the fix on your proposal.

How do I take care of it?

Blow off leaves, rinse it now and then, and brush the busiest areas occasionally to keep the fibers standing up. We leave you a written care guide at the final walkthrough.

Can you work around trees, beds and the pool?

Yes. Cut-ins around palms, trees and utility boxes are included, and we can edge turf against pavers, pool coping and planting beds.
